The Barclay Butera Couture Graceful Bamboo Medium Blue & White Porcelain Temple Jar brings a refined botanical accent to traditional and transitional interiors. Its blue bamboo branches and slender leaves create an airy, allover pattern against the white porcelain body. A rounded shoulder, raised lid and pointed finial give the jar its classic temple-jar silhouette, while linear borders define the neck and base. Measuring 19 inches high, 10 inches wide and 10 inches deep, it has a substantial presence without requiring floor placement. Display it on an entryway console, dining room sideboard or living room cabinet, where the vertical form can balance framed art, lamps or stacked books. It also works well as a standalone focal point or styled symmetrically with a second jar in a spacious arrangement.

Behind the form

It begins in the hands.

Before a piece is painted, its shape gives it character: the shoulder of a jar, the edge of a planter, the balance of a vase. The porcelain traditions behind our collection bring together forming, hand-painted detail, glazing, and firing.

A closer look

Notice how the painted line follows the form, and how the glaze catches the light.

At home with porcelain

A place for the details to live.

We like porcelain best when it feels part of everyday life, not set apart from it. A lamp can warm a reading corner; a jar can hold its own on a console. Blue-and-white pattern feels especially at ease beside wood, linen, and a little open space.

A room note

Give a favorite piece some breathing room, then let its color echo somewhere else nearby.
