The Blue & White Silla Flower Porcelain Melon Jar brings expressive pattern and a substantial presence to a room. Its rounded melon-jar silhouette features layered blue floral forms, looping vines, and fluid tonal variation across a soft white ground. A short cylindrical top continues the botanical decoration for a cohesive look. Measuring 17 inches wide, 17 inches deep, and 19 inches high, this generously scaled porcelain jar works well as a standalone accent on a broad console, sideboard, buffet, or sturdy center table. Pair it with neutral furnishings to emphasize the blue palette, or incorporate it into a collected interior alongside other blue-and-white decor. Its balanced form and all-around pattern also make it a strong choice for an entryway, living room, dining room, or spacious home office.

Behind the form

It begins in the hands.

Before a piece is painted, its shape gives it character: the shoulder of a jar, the edge of a planter, the balance of a vase. The porcelain traditions behind our collection bring together forming, hand-painted detail, glazing, and firing.

A closer look

Notice how the painted line follows the form, and how the glaze catches the light.

At home with porcelain

A place for the details to live.

We like porcelain best when it feels part of everyday life, not set apart from it. A lamp can warm a reading corner; a jar can hold its own on a console. Blue-and-white pattern feels especially at ease beside wood, linen, and a little open space.

A room note

Give a favorite piece some breathing room, then let its color echo somewhere else nearby.
