The Handmade Foot Bath Planter River Farewell features a blue-and-white landscape scene framed by decorative borders. Detailed trees, architecture, distant birds, rocks, and waterside elements create a layered design that rewards a closer look. Its foot bath–inspired rectangular form has a gently irregular rim and a broad profile suited to display as a decorative vessel or planter. Measuring 15 inches wide, 12 inches deep, and 10 inches high, it has enough visual presence for a console, sideboard, covered entry table, or generously sized coffee table. Style it on its own to keep the scenic artwork visible, or use it to hold a thoughtfully scaled botanical arrangement. The rich blue imagery and crisp white ground coordinate naturally with traditional, chinoiserie-inspired, coastal, and collected interiors.

Illustrative craft scene Form / Brushwork / Glaze

Behind the form

It begins in the hands.

Before a piece is painted, its shape gives it character: the shoulder of a jar, the edge of a planter, the balance of a vase. The porcelain traditions behind our collection bring together forming, hand-painted detail, glazing, and firing.

A closer look

Notice how the painted line follows the form, and how the glaze catches the light.

At home with porcelain

A place for the details to live.

We like porcelain best when it feels part of everyday life, not set apart from it. A lamp can warm a reading corner; a jar can hold its own on a console. Blue-and-white pattern feels especially at ease beside wood, linen, and a little open space.

A room note

Give a favorite piece some breathing room, then let its color echo somewhere else nearby.
