The Selenite Fireplace Log is a sculptural decorative accent with a pale ivory-white palette and a layered, log-like profile. Linear crystalline textures run across its elongated form, while softly translucent areas give the surface subtle tonal variation. Offered in Small, Medium, Large, and Extra Large, it allows you to select the option that best suits your display plan. Place it inside a clean, non-operating firebox for an artful alternative to traditional logs, or present it on a console, low shelf, or broad tabletop where its textural surface can be appreciated. The neutral coloring works especially well with stone, wood, plaster, and metal finishes, from pared-back contemporary rooms to organic, collected interiors. It can stand alone as a focal object or be arranged with other decorative pieces. Use only as decor; suitability for flame, heat, or an operating fireplace is not specified.

Behind the form

It begins in the hands.

Before a piece is painted, its shape gives it character: the shoulder of a jar, the edge of a planter, the balance of a vase. The porcelain traditions behind our collection bring together forming, hand-painted detail, glazing, and firing.

A closer look

Notice how the painted line follows the form, and how the glaze catches the light.

At home with porcelain

A place for the details to live.

We like porcelain best when it feels part of everyday life, not set apart from it. A lamp can warm a reading corner; a jar can hold its own on a console. Blue-and-white pattern feels especially at ease beside wood, linen, and a little open space.

A room note

Give a favorite piece some breathing room, then let its color echo somewhere else nearby.
