The Vintage Pottery Water Basin is a low, rounded decorative vessel with a substantial rolled rim and a deeply weathered charcoal surface. Soft gray and pale rubbed markings break across the dark finish, creating a layered, collected look without overwhelming surrounding decor. Its simple circular profile works naturally with rustic, global, vintage-inspired, and pared-back interiors. Available in Small, Medium, and Large, it can be selected for a range of decorative arrangements. Display one on a stable console, coffee table, or low cabinet with enough surface area for the selected size, or group multiple sizes for a coordinated composition. The open interior can hold lightweight decorative accents, though the basin also has a strong presence when left unfilled so its worn surface remains visible. Pair it with warm wood, aged metal, neutral textiles, or matte ceramics for a grounded tonal display.

Behind the form

It begins in the hands.

Before a piece is painted, its shape gives it character: the shoulder of a jar, the edge of a planter, the balance of a vase. The porcelain traditions behind our collection bring together forming, hand-painted detail, glazing, and firing.

A closer look

Notice how the painted line follows the form, and how the glaze catches the light.

At home with porcelain

A place for the details to live.

We like porcelain best when it feels part of everyday life, not set apart from it. A lamp can warm a reading corner; a jar can hold its own on a console. Blue-and-white pattern feels especially at ease beside wood, linen, and a little open space.

A room note

Give a favorite piece some breathing room, then let its color echo somewhere else nearby.
