The Yuan Blue and White Plum Jar presents a rounded, full-bodied silhouette with a short neck, flared rim, and gently tapered base. Deep blue decoration stands out against the white ground, featuring flowering branches and graceful linear details that give the piece an expressive botanical character. Measuring 17 inches high, 13 inches wide, and 13 inches deep, it has a substantial presence while remaining versatile enough for a range of interiors. Display it as a standalone accent on a console table, sideboard, or spacious mantel, or incorporate it into a collected arrangement with books and complementary decorative objects. Its balanced proportions also suit an entryway cabinet, dining room buffet, or living room display. Allow adequate surface space around the jar so its curved profile and detailed motif remain clearly visible.

Behind the form

It begins in the hands.

Before a piece is painted, its shape gives it character: the shoulder of a jar, the edge of a planter, the balance of a vase. The porcelain traditions behind our collection bring together forming, hand-painted detail, glazing, and firing.

A closer look

Notice how the painted line follows the form, and how the glaze catches the light.

At home with porcelain

A place for the details to live.

We like porcelain best when it feels part of everyday life, not set apart from it. A lamp can warm a reading corner; a jar can hold its own on a console. Blue-and-white pattern feels especially at ease beside wood, linen, and a little open space.

A room note

Give a favorite piece some breathing room, then let its color echo somewhere else nearby.
